KLCBS Jazzical is an odd, beautiful beast. The name suggests a fusion that could go horribly wrong - jazz and classical don't always mix. But this Indonesian station pulls it off more often than not. You'll hear Debussy preludes sit next to Miles Davis ballads, sometimes sequenced, sometimes crossfaded with surprising harmony. The DJs know their stuff; they'll drop a Coltrane solo then a Bach fugue, and you'll hear the connection. It's not for everyone. Some transitions feel forced.
