Nostalgie Orléans

Nostalgie Orléans is the local arm of a French radio institution, and the format hasn't changed much for a reason. It works. The playlist runs on chanson française and variety hits from the 60s through the 90s: Aznavour, Dalida, Polnareff, France Gall, the stuff that still gets played at every wedding in the Loiret. There's Michel Sardou too, and I'll admit the Sardou block tests my patience. Not for everyone. What makes the Orléans version worth a listen is the local texture.
