Stereo97 keeps it simple - pop and rock, mostly in Spanish but with enough English hits to keep things unpredictable. The daytime rotation leans heavily on Latin pop staples: Shakira, Maná, the usual suspects. It's safe, but the production is sharp and the DJs keep chatter to a minimum. After dark, the rock creeps in - think Soda Stereo, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, and the occasional deep cut from a Bolivian band you've never heard. That's where the station finds its character.
