Prog Palace Radio doesn't hide what it loves. The name promises progressive rock and it delivers, but there's more depth here than the tag suggests. Expect stretches of symphonic prog from the '70s - think Yes's "Close to the Edge" - but also modern bands like Porcupine Tree and The Mars Volta. Being a Canadian station, there's a healthy dose of homegrown talent: deep cuts from Rush sit alongside newer acts from Vancouver or Montreal. The programming avoids the obvious.
