The ModStation - Amiga ProTracker Modules

ProTracker ran on the Amiga 500 with four channels and a few kilobytes of sample memory. That constraint produced some of the strangest, most inventive electronic music of the early '90s. The ModStation gathers those Amiga ProTracker modules and streams them back to back: Jogeir Liljedahl, 4-mat, Purple Motion, the whole Future Crew orbit. Nothing here sounds clean. The samples are crunchy, the bass is thin, and the pitch bends go wherever they want. It works.
