CFOX is Vancouver rock radio the way it used to be done: loud, guitar-first, and unapologetic about it. The playlist runs from the dependable stuff (Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Foo Fighters) into Canadian bands that actually earned their place: The Tragically Hip, Big Wreck, 54-40, and Vancouver's own Japandroids when the mood suits. Not everyone's cup of tea. Nights get heavier, and that's when the station sounds best. Daytime is a different animal. More talk, more contests, more Bryan Adams.
