Community radio in Canada rarely sounds this alive. CJTR AccessNow Radio 91.3FM is run by volunteers, not playlists: retired punks, record obsessives, somebody who really loves Ghanaian highlife. The schedule lurches, and that's the appeal. A folk hour collapses into harsh noise, then a call-in about city hall. Nobody smooths the seams. It's scrappy. That's the point.
