NRJ Reggaeton

NRJ Reggaeton is the Caribbean wing of the NRJ network, and it leans hard on dancehall, French-language reggae, and reggaeton's slow dembow shuffle. One minute you'll get Naâman, the next Bad Bunny. That mix shouldn't work. It does. There's none of the polite, acoustic-guitar reggae that French radio sometimes serves up; this is bass-forward, vocal, and built for summer. Dub and dancehall sit deep in the low end, where the bass does the talking. Fans of Biga*Ranx or Tiken Jah Fakoly will feel at home, and so will anyone who came for the reggaeton side of the name.
