Sky FM keeps things simple: it's a Nepali radio station, and it sounds like one. The playlist drifts between adhunik geet, folk-leaning lok geet, and the Hindi and English pop that fills every bus ride in Kathmandu. Nothing fancy here. That's the appeal. Narayan Gopal is the bedrock of this kind of programming, but the newer wave gets room too: Bartika Eam Rai, Sajjan Raj Vaidya, that whole Kathmandu singer-songwriter scene.
