Tinau FM takes its name from the river that cuts through Butwal and the Palpa hills, and the station's sound follows that geography: Nepali folk, adhunik geet, and a fair amount of Hindi and Nepali pop that the rest of the world never hears. Mornings belong to the classics. Narayan Gopal, older lok geet, the stuff your grandparents hum without thinking. Afternoons shift toward contemporary Nepali pop and the occasional Kutumba instrumental, all of it wrapped around local news, festival announcements, and phone-in chat that runs longer than it should.
