Smooth Jazz live from the US does exactly what it says on the tin, and that's fine. The playlist sticks to the genre's comfort zone: Kenny G's soprano sax, George Benson's guitar, and a sprinkling of B.B. King for blues cred. It's the kind of station you put on for Sunday brunch or a lazy afternoon. No pretension here, no deep cuts from obscure ECM sessions.
