WHUS has been UConn's voice since the 1940s. The freeform format means you never know what's coming next: one minute it's obscure 70s psych, the next a local punk demo. That unpredictability is exactly why it works. The DJs are students and community volunteers, not polished professionals, and their enthusiasm is palpable. Some shows ramble with chatter, but the music curation is genuinely adventurous.
