KPAC does classical radio differently. The programming leans heavily on the Romantics, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, but they toss in a Bach fugue when you least expect it. Mornings are all about big orchestral works. Afternoons? A bit too much host chatter for my liking. But the late-night slot is sublime: intimate chamber music, the kind you'd hear in a small recital hall. It's the perfect background for working or reading.
