KWVA is the sound of college radio at its scrappiest. Student-run from the University of Oregon, this station plays what it wants when it wants. One hour you'll hear The Replacements, the next some obscure Oregon band nobody's written about. That's the charm. There's no algorithm here, just kids with crates of vinyl and strong opinions.
