I've spent a week with Радио Континенталь, and it's a comfortable piece of Russian radio. The playlist leans heavily on Russian pop - think Alla Pugacheva, Dima Bilan, and plenty of local hits you won't hear elsewhere. It's a Music radio Russia institution, though not a groundbreaking one. The morning show drags with too much talk, but afternoons settle into a solid groove of uninterrupted tracks.
