WTMD-HD2 is the digital subchannel of Baltimore's eclectic public radio station, and it's where the adventurous curation lives. The main signal is great, but this HD2 channel dives deeper - obscure folk singles, left-field electronica, indie rock B-sides that never see commercial play. The DJs clearly have free rein, and it shows. One moment it's a soulful deep cut from the 70s, the next a dissonant art-rock track from last year. Not every transition works, but that's the point.
