Kalinchowk FM takes its name from the pilgrim hill in Dolakha, and it broadcasts with that same district-level loyalty. Expect lok geet, dohori call-and-response, and adhunik geet rather than polished Kathmandu Top 40. The old songs hold up best. Narayan Gopal and Aruna Lama still get real airtime here, and rightly so. Between tracks come bhajans, community notices, and the odd burst of transmitter static. That's the charm.
