Radio Rolpa

Radio Rolpa is community radio in the truest sense: a mid-hills signal for Rolpa district, where the road gives out and FM still beats fiber. The format is pure Nepali local. News, weather for people who actually farm, market prices, and a heavy dose of lok geet and dohori. The dohori is what I keep coming back for: call-and-response duets that get rowdy in a way studio pop never manages. Some of the talk blocks drag (long speeches, phone-ins, announcements read twice), and nobody would call the production slick. Stick with it.
