Afno means 'our own' in Nepali, which is roughly the tone of the country's FM dial: close, local, a bit like a neighbor talking over the fence. Expect the day split between talk and music. Mornings run devotional songs and headlines. Then the schedule opens into adhunik ballads (Narayan Gopal, Arun Thapa, Bhakta Raj Acharya) and the lok dohori duets that still fill wedding season.
