There's something almost manic about Antenne Bayern's Weihnachtshits channel. It begins early. By November 1st, the festive switch is thrown. Then it's Mariah Carey's 'All I Want for Christmas', Wham!'s 'Last Christmas', and 'Jingle Bell Rock' on relentless rotation. German standards like 'O du fröhliche' and 'Süßer die Glocken nie klingen' pop up too. It's not subtle. The vibe is pure holiday cheer, like a Munich Christmas market on steroids.
