Red FM sits somewhere between a Kathmandu traffic companion and a national jukebox. Daytime is built for the commute: Nepali pop, Hindi film hits, and the occasional adhunik geet that your parents know every word to. Nothing revolutionary there, but it's done with real warmth. Nights get more interesting. That's when the folk-leaning stuff shows up, lok geet alongside newer voices like Sajjan Raj Vaidya and Bipul Chettri, artists who treat Nepali as a language worth building songs around rather than a novelty.
